The Inaugural 2024 Xinying Shimmer Festival Set to Bedazzle Tainan
Following the unveiling of Tainan 400 and the 2024 Taiwan Lantern Festival in Tainan, the Xinying Shimmer Festival will mesmerize festivalgoers alongside the Yuejin Harbor Lantern Festival in Northern Tainan!
This year’s Xinying Shimmer Festival features the theme "Shimmer Circle," creatively blending light and shadow art with the surrounding natural ecology. The event showcases the "The Moon Forgets" Jimmy Outdoor Art Installation Exhibition at the Xinying Cultural Center and the Xinying Swan Lake. Additionally, the festival presents the "Shimmer Circle" related lantern area activities.

Relive iconic moments from Jimmy's illustrated book "The Moon Forgets" at Xinying Cultural Center Square. which aims to convey warmth through the artwork and illuminate the hearts of the audience.

[Shimmer Circle - Swan Lake Lantern Area]
Featuring a total of 9 showcase thematic artworks, a lakeside luminous environment and a large water fountain, the exhibition incorporates the "Eye of Light," spanning 15 meters across the lake. This masterpiece combines Swan Lake projection mapping and electronic music, offering visitors a multisensory experience of both sight and sound!

Transportation Info
We suggest availing of public transportation for your visit. You can opt for Tainan City Bus routes Yellow 6 and Yellow 6-1, which operate on weekends. Additionally, there is the Swan Lake Lantern Festival weekend shuttle service available between Xinying Train Station and Swan Lake Park, with the exception of New Year's Eve. For another convenient option, you can consider renting a Ubike to reach the venue.
