This artwork is part of the existing public art installation "Solar Tree" at the Shalun Green Energy Technology Demonstration Site. The work employs energy tree kernel lights, light strips and starry string lights to enhance the shaded environment beneath the solar tree. The tree kernel is made of eco-friendly white plastic, resembling a festive lantern combined with a solar light module. It epitomizes the core and soul of the tree, emitting a gentle glow that illuminates the surrounding space. While we tend to marvel at the spectacular Solar Tree, it's possible that we overlook the small fruit cores scattered on the ground. This indicates that significant accomplishments are not just chance occurrences but are frequently concealed within the failures accumulated over time. These minuscule light cores represent the compilation of setbacks. Among the numerous research and development projects, maybe only one gets the opportunity to flourish. Since ancient times, many nations around the world have been filled with awe and fear of lightning, and have derived various myths and legends from it. It can be a symbol of evil or a punishment from God. This work is a landscape art that is set up on the large lawn of the “Green Energy District”. It is inspired by lightning and imitates its shape and path, and connects with other art in the same area. It tries to picture a image - the green energy follows the path of lightning and devlier to other the art . Through delicate light control changes, it simulates the light and movement of lightning. The scale and momentum of the work are very spectacular, making the viewers feel as if they are in the scene.
